Federico Garcia Lorcas Blood Wedding will be presented in the Margetts Theatre.
On the evening of her wedding day, a young bride deserts her newlywed husband and runs away with her former love. Exploring themes of family, honor and death, this tragic masterpiece is considered the greatest Spanish play of the 20th century. Lorca weaves together poetry, folk music and striking visual images to tell the heart-wrenching story of the three ill-fated lovers.
Tickets are available through the Fine Arts Ticket Office, (801) 422-4322, or at arts.byu.edu. Discounted showings of dress rehearsals are also available March 3-4. A Saturday matinee will also be shown March 13 at 2 p.m. There will be no performances Sundays or Mondays.

In honor of former BYU president Rex E. Lee and others who are fighting cancer. All proceeds support cancer research at BYU. Registration is $15 for the 5K run and $20 for the 10K run when you register by March 12. For more information and registration, visit http://rexleerun.byu.edu. Runners may wear an "Honor a Cancer Fighter" certificate with the name of their cancer fighter to honor a friend or loved one fighting cancer.
